Las Vegas, NV 1986 – Present

President responsible for all aspects of Construction Administration to Business Administration of our family-owned construction company. Over my extensive career of over 30 years, I personally have managed over $3 billion dollars in project development and project management. With Trident Construction over the last 10 years, we have completed over $100 million dollars’ worth of work.

The English Hotel, Las Vegas, NV

New construction consisting of complete design assist and development of a 74-room boutique hotel including a restaurant and commercial kitchen. $10 Million for Fuyi and I personally have an equity share of this property.

JW Marriott Resort Casino at Rampart, Las Vegas, NV

Multiple projects over the last 3 years remodeling center bar, casino, hotel coffee shop, 5 sets of casino bathrooms, meeting rooms, resort spa and gym, back of house offices, high end slot room, players club, Italian restaurant. $9 Million over the last 3 years for Hotspur Properties.

Harrah’s Laughlin, Lauglin NV

Remodel and retrofit of a 400-room hotel tower including remodeling and new penthouse suites, existing guestrooms and hallways. $10 Million for Caesar’s Entertainment.

Venetian Resort and Casino, Las Vegas NV

Multiple projects over a 7-year period for restaurants, high roller Chairman Suites remodel, Chairman’s personal offices and board room, multiple service bars, sports book, poker room, employee dinning (EDR) kitchen and seating area, Security offices, Accounting, Reservations, Venetian Tower 3000 room refresh, 3 pool and spa remodels and structural retrofit, Palazzo 3000 room refresh, Marina Bay Sands Model Rooms for Singapore. $50 Million for Las Vegas Sands Corporation. We won a Sands Achievement award in 2012 for cost management this is for all their vendors world wide.

Planet 13 Dispensary Production and Retail Experience, Las Vegas NV

New Construction and build out of 80,000 sf for the world’s largest cannabis dispensary, which included a full commercial kitchen, a production facility, decorative retail corridor, corporate offices, bar and restaurant. This work included extensive integrated AV, low voltage and security systems. We also had to construct a central plant for MEP for the entire property. This was a fast-track schedule with incomplete plans and we had to build as design was completed. Phase 1 was completed in 6 months which was half the value of the project. We received two consecutive awards for multiple phases from NIAOP for best redevelopment project. $22 Million for Planet 13.

Venue of Vegas, Las Vegas, NV

New construction of a 40,000 sf multi use entertainment facility with a stage for concerts, full commercial kitchen, bar, private meeting rooms and outdoor rooftop bar. The original project was competitively bid at $10 million and we through extensive value engineering reduced the cost for the same building to $8 million.

Stratosphere Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, NV

Multiple projects consisting of  guest room remodeling, Starbucks, sports book, uniform warehouse, completely new pools, spas, recreation deck with a full bar and service kitchen. $10 million for Stratosphere Corporation over 2 years.

        Responsible for owner client relations, preconstruction, design assist, subcontract bidding, subcontract administration and day to day project operations. The project consists of a 1 million square foot 43 story condominium tower with a parking structure and low rise, $145 Million.

World Market Center, Phase 2 Las Vegas, NV- Project Manager/Estimator

Responsible for owner client relations, preconstruction, design assist for a 1.6 million square, foot 16 story, furniture exposition facility, approximately $200 million for The World Market Partnership, LLC.

World Market Center, Phase 1 Las Vegas, NV – Project Manager/Estimator

Responsible for owner client relations, preconstruction, design assist.1.3 million square foot, 10 story, furniture exposition facility, approximately $100 million for The World Market Partnership, LLC.

Fashion Show Mall West Expansion, Las Vegas, NV  -Project Manager

Responsible for owner/client relations, bidding, subcontractor and material procurement, day-to-day coordination for a 1 million square foot mall expansion, $65 million for The Rouse Corporation.

Aladdin Desert Passage Retail Mall, Las Vegas, NV          Project Manager/Estimator

Responsible for all themed interior facades for the entire retail mall, bidding, owner/client relations, day-to-day coordination for an 800,000 square foot mall build-out, $70 million for Trizechahn Corporation.

M&M World Tenant Improvement, Las Vegas, NV Project Manager

Responsible for budgets, day-to-day coordination, subcontractor and material procurement, owner/client relations, on a 6,500 square foot tenant improvement theme expansion, $1.2 million for the Mars Corporation.

Responsible for the procurement of approximately $12 million of trade subcontracts, coordination of work, day-to-day project management for the Low Rise Suites, Casino Lounge and Worth Avenue portions of a multi-use-building, $71.4 million lump sum contract for ITT Sheraton.

Stratosphere Tower Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV Project Manager

Responsible for procurement and coordination of major trades including concrete, curtain wall systems, gypsum wall systems, millwork, paint and wall covering, doors, jambs and hardware, specialty lighting, FF&E coordination, miscellaneous iron, expansion joints, waterproofing and specialty doors for a $300 million construction management contract for Grand Casinos.
